Author Håvard Rem, the author of a leading book on TNBM called Infødte skrik (“Native calls”), described the phenomenon (black metal in Norway) to Dagens Næringsliv as “a global awakening that gets the children of the ‘68ers to search for their roots from pre-colonial and pre-Christian times."
