seno laiku sakarā man prātā nāk kādreiz dzirdētais, un (slinkums gūglēt!) kāds to varētu apstiprināt/apgāzt. čista visādām frančangļu valodām fonētika ir tāda, kāda ir, jo nepārejošas cingas dēļ visi staigāja bez zobiem un šļupstēja?

	Un man vēl rodas jautājums, vai autors ir iedomājies, ka cinga ir kaut kāda infekcijas slimība? Cinga rodas no c vitamīna hroniska deficīta. Based on Lind’s writings and the prevalence of possible related terms in a number of northern European languages, it is likely that the disease was a present in much of northern Europe from the time of settling until the Age of Sail.[132]
The Crusades, however, provide an example of one written account of scurvy during the 13th century.[133] During Lent, when soldiers abstained from meat (except eel) and restricted their diets, a scurvy epidemic likely unfolded as “the barber surgeons were forced to cut away the dead flesh from the gums to enable the people to masticate their food.”[134] However, it is noted that the Crusaders believed that the disease was cause by eating eel which supposedly ate the dead.[135]
Scurvy, however, was never particularly prevalent or problematic in Europe until advances in naval technologies allowed ships to extend their stay at sea.

	šis ir pirmais, kas tagad uzgūglējas. bet esmu lasījusi arī ko citu (tieši par cingu eiropā, nevis par zobu iztrūkuma iespējamo ietekmi uz valodas artikulizāciju/deartikulizāciju). (Atbildēt uz šo) (Iepriekšējais)
