Tas drīzāk ir domāts tā, ka, ja ēšana ir termināla vērtība, tad pie tās ir vienlīdz svarīgi visi ar to saistītie faktori (t.sk. garša, prezentācija, sociālais konteksts utt.), kamēr Soylent u.c. ēšanai pieiet strikti utilitāri/pragmatiski.
