Pagaidām jau neko reālu viņi nav panākuši (tuvāko šādiem panākumiem, cilvēku CRISPR moratorija pieteikumu, atbildīgās instances noraidīja praktiski vienbalsīgi). Tajā pašā laikā, to var uztvert kā piemēru tam, kā šī jautrība turpinās pieaugt, tehnoloģijām nobriestot un ieejot apgrozībā.
