The genitive case is falling out of use in modern German. Where the formal rules dictate that the genitive should be used, it’s very common to ignore the rules and use a dative instead.

O! Paldies!

Arī šis neliekas tik nepareizi, intuitīvi iederas pat ļoti labi. Kā man teica, nupat jau arī akuzatīvu ar datīvu reizēm sajaukt nav nekāds noziegums. Es neteiktu, ka ģenitīvs vācu valodā tāpēc mirst. Kā piederības deklinācija tas taču joprojām pilnībā funkcionē.
