15 YEARS OF GUSGUS: The music group GusGus celebrates its 15 year anniversary this year, 2010. As a part of the anniversary celebrations GusGus has made a special compilation LP. The name of the LP is “15 YEARS” and it features 21 tunes from 6 previous LPs made by the group.
All the tunes on the compilation LP are specially edited and remastered for this anniversary issue in order to make the clear core of each tune shine through at its best. Even though listeners may have heard most of the tunes before, it will be obvious that these versions are different in such a tight form.

Senior is a forthcoming album from Norwegian duo Röyksopp, set for release on 13 September 2010. The album has been described as an introspective, withdrawn, atmospheric counterpart to energetic Junior. Röyksopp described the album as having an "autumn mood" to it, while Junior had a "spring feel". In an interview with KCRW, Svein Berge likened Senior to "the senile sibling of Junior who lives in the attic." The Alcoholic has been described by the band as a "nostalgic idea based on this hobo who hitchhikes on trains and travels from place to place."

Phon°noir is Germany’s Matthias Grübel’s solo project.
"Musically, the majority of The Objects Don’t Need Us is exquisite. The entire album has a rustic, desolate, sundown feel. Wisely, Grübel lets his guitar playing come to the forefront. The delicate, gently-strummed acoustics and tremolo electrics shimmer like mirages on a desert road. The pitter-pattering of computers is relegated to the fringes of the mix, careening from ear to ear as if made nervous by the more traditional guitars. The effect is at times reminiscent of Angelo Badalamenti’s work for David Lynch: haunting and, as Grübel’s working name would suggest, more than a little noir-ish."
