About this record: Double CD set from Tru Thoughts' label head Robert
Luis and label artist TM Juke. In the spirit of their Rebtuz white
label series, they give up the proverbial goods here, dropping 22 of
their personal remixes and re-edits unmixed. As expected the selection
travels all over the place, encompassing hip-hop, reggae, funk, soul,
downtempo, dnb, and even some bollywood. They've gone all out with the
packaging with Banksy-inspired graphics, CD graphics that ape Island
and Def Jam, and a cheeky sticker.

..it doesn't really ever go into Venetian Snares-lite IDM chop-up retardation, rather focusing on the more hardcore-styled junglist/rave sound of the early 90s. With tracks like this sitting side-by-side with Britney Spears' 'Toxic' sampling 'Zagreb' and the Aphex dark-tronic 'E is for Evildarkshadowsthatlurkonthedancefloor' you better know you're in for a choppy bass heavy treat that never takes itself too seriously.
