Part of the problem that atheists have is that they've lost the moral high ground that came from basically having no track record. Abandoning god hasn't led to a new age of enlightenement and rationality, it's led to a world where Californians tell your 5 year old that they can choose from 37 genders at will. The human tendencies towards delusion, irrationality, emotional thinking, violence, etc have not been muted by abandoning god, they've just been directed towards other causes.

From a Darwinian point of view, religious populations outreproduce and outsurvive those that give in to modernist triad of atheism, narcissism, and moral relativism. There is no rational reason to embrace an ideology which makes your genetic lineage more likely to be snuffed out.

Autors netieši norāda, ka cilvēki pamet dievu, jo grib būt labāki? Ko tas pasaka par ticīgajiem?

Es pats laikam varētu ticēt tikai kādai stipri paškritiskai superreliģijai, kuru vēl neviens nav izdomājis.

''Autors netieši norāda, ka cilvēki pamet dievu, jo grib būt labāki? Ko tas pasaka par ticīgajiem?''

Tas vairāk pasaka to, ka neticība aizved vēl lielākā absurdā, pie tam šajā gadījumā nav sabiedriskās kohēzijas, ko by default piedāvā reliģija. Elementāri, Vatson.
