starp citu, vai tie džeki japānā, kas pelna naudu ar to, ka staigā no durvīm līdz durvīm, pieprasot cilvēkiem tomēr samaksāt par nacionālo televizeju, regulāri tiek nolamāti & suņu sakosti, un naudu saņem vien tad, ja panāk savu, vēl nav nooptimizēti?

In recent years, a simple “nope” isn’t enough to deter them, and they can be a little persistent. Since your average NHK man tends not to be multilingual, simply smiling a lot and speaking English loudly can be enough to make them decide you’re not worth pursing.

When you pay your NHK fee, the fee collector will place a sticker above your front door indicating that you’ve paid your fee.

When he calls to your home, under no circumstances open the door. After he’s gone, have a wander around your apartment block or area to see who’s paid their fees, peel off their sticker and place it above your own door.

Es nezinu kā Japānā, bet pie mums te Zaļajā salā ir līdzīga situācija. Ir jāmaksā par tv licensi, nav svarīgi, vai tu to skaties vai nē - ja tev TV mājās ir (kaut vai salūzis), tad jāmaksā. Tā nu Īrijas Pasts (neprasi kāpēc viņi tieši, nezinu), staigā no mājas uz māju un cilvēkiem ir tiesības viņus neielaist. Es laikam esmu viņus satikusi tikai vienreiz, jo parasti šie staigā, kad cilvēki darbos, un ja atbildes nav, tad tev pa pastu tiek atsūtīta vēstulīte, ka "lūk, mēs jūs nesastapām, bet jūs agrāk maksājāt, bet tagad nemaksājat, tad jums vajag maksāt, ja jums ir TV blablabla". Ja tiek pierādīts, ka TV ir un netiek maksāts, tad gan ir labs sods.
Bet mums TV nav, ir tikai datora ekrāns, kuru izmantojam, lai pieslēgtu Netlix un šad tad nodotos kādai filmai.
