Which is very ironic because Haber was only looking for a way to cheaply synthesize explosives for killing people more efficiently :(

He also helped Germans to fight wars more efficiency. The double irony is that he was Jewish and when Hitler came to power he was not allowed to continue his research and had to leave Germany.
