Hard to say what are truths and what are lies from here - I've seen video evidence with both side's interpretations and I really can't be 100% confident about what is what. Pilger has always been out to expose US imperial foreign policy - has been for decades - that is his thesis. It'll be backed up with truths, rumours, and dubious nonsense. But, so is the vast majority of reporting both 'official' and 'blogged' from Ukraine: people are on or have picked sides: that is the problem.
