Shit you simply couldn't make up
Kāds diegabiksis jautāja kas vainas Zviedrijai. Da nekas, viss norm.

''Norrköping municipality pays 100,000 SEK in salary to criminals in the affected district Navestad in Norrköping for them to stop committing crimes, reports NT.

The money is paid out as part of the project "Stepping Stone" which in particular aims to reduce attacks against police and public safety personnel. A total of eight criminals who receive SEK 100,000 each to stop committing crimes.

The condition for the criminals to get the tax money deposited in their accounts is that they do not commit crimes between September 1 this year until 31 August 2018.

According to the local newspaper, however, four of them included in the project remained criminally active. One of them, a 20 year old man, is currently suspected of instigating an attack on an police officer a few weeks ago when the policeman was held and had burning cigarettes pushed at him.

The 20-year-old is in addition to the attack the subject of an ongoing investigation regarding violence against officials, violent resistance and several drug offenses.

- It is noteworthy that the municipality again is investing our tax money to give to criminally active people, who attacks police officers, just to have them keep quiet in Navestad, says a person familiar with the events to NT.

NT writes that stoning the police declined after the project began.''
