PM Löven about gang violence in Sweden: "It would have been the same even without any immigration at all"
The question of why the violence came to Sweden, the prime minister could not answer, but repeated that Sweden was not prepared for it. However, immigration is not the explanation, he clarified.
According to Löfven, gang crime is due to segregation and the "social injustices" found in the suburbs. At the same time, he claimed that the problems would have been the same if only Swedes had lived there.
- "But it would have been regardless of who lived there, if you put native people who were born in Sweden under the same conditions, you get the same results," he claimed.
According to Stefan Löfven, from day one he has worked as prime minister to "crack down" organized crime.

It was last Sunday that Stefan Löfven gave a longer interview in SVT Agenda. There he stated, among other things, that it was not possible to predict gang violence in Sweden and that the problems had been the same with Swedes in the suburbs.
Löfven simply said that the crime cannot be linked to the huge immigration to Sweden.
However, his answer was so bad that even Lena Mellin on Aftonbladet calls the interview "a disaster".
In an interview with DN, Löfven now defends his own answers, emphasizing that one must not "ethnicize" the crime.
It is segregation that is the problem, he argues.
- "It is not possible to identify and say that the crime is due to being born in a certain place or having a specific skin color or background. It is not what it is, but it depends on the conditions, the socio-economic conditions, and it is clear that you get too little language education, the opportunity to learn the language and too few chances to actually enter the labor market, yes then it will to turn on segregation", the Prime Minister tells DN.
