You know it's funny. I've been talking to a Latvian lady with a PHD about Brexit. She was convinced it was all down to a Russian manipulation. She was stunned when I demurred. I was probably the first person she'd spoken to who was in any way sceptical about that particular narrative. As a result, she had no argument - she was agreeing with me after about 30 seconds. Weird, really
