If you think about it, it's funny in a retarded way. We were expecting the world to be taken over by megacorp like weyland-yutani, ocp, tyrell, Cyberdyne Systems Corporation.
Instead the world is being taken over by retarded limp-wristed soy-corp like Google, Amazon, Facebook and probably PornHub, instead of a cool cyberpunk world where it rains all day and night with cyborgs and flying cars we are going to live in a dystopian cranyon colored world filled with ball pits, crying pathetic adults, ponies and ugly transexuals, where insulting people on the internet is considered hate speech and a crime worse than murder.
