Platons = wisdom. Viņa rūpals bija saprast lietu būtību, nevis pētīt niekus. Nieku pētīšana ir priekš tādiem mazattīstītiem tipiņiem kā tu. Tieši uzdūros nesen labam citātam šajā kontekstā:

It's not like that "clump of cells" has the potential to turn into something other than a human being. It's not going to spontaneously turn into a dog, or remain a clump a cells indefinitely. It's destined to mature into a full fledged human life.

According to the logic used by the secularists, murdering a human child would be less of a crime than murdering a full grown adult, for a human child is much less developed, less intelligent and less capable than an adult, and certainly less valuable to society. Somehow though our moral sense finds the death of a child more tragic than that of an adult, precisely because the amount of "life" lost in the death of a child is greater than that lost at the death of, say, a 40 years old. The 40 years old at least got to live for an extend of time, where as the child was denied much more. "He or she still had so much life ahead of them". Is that not what we say?
