1) You need to be careful drawing conclusions about the place of your birth through information gleaned through a certain prism of the internet

So/but on my visit to England, I can relate that

a) on exiting Anglia Square, I was aware of a Halal butchers opposite (Had it been there before? Memory withers on the vine of disinterest);
b) on the local news a labour politician was urging a group of young Muslim women to vote (you know who for);
c) the leading news story was the attack on Muslims in Myanmar. The BBC reporter referred to 'Buddhist mobs';
d) an Army recruitment advert showed a group of British soldiers waiting for their brother-in-arms to finish his Islamic prayers.

Over dinner, I asked my brother what he thought of all of this.
He told me to stop asking leading questions.

Seemingly intelligent friends of mine consider this healthy. I consider them mad. But then again, it's probably my horribly white pride.

Don't know if it so much the white thing (my neighbours as a kid were the Bulzaras, hindus from India, and we got along fine) - it's more the slow spineless submission to Islam that is depressing and bewildering.

This demonstrates to me how strong is the grip of the powers that be on the minds and beliefs of the people. Ten years ago nobody would have believed what is happening now. And yet we have so easily yielded in the name of democracy - how telling. Funny how, "progressing" from wisdom to licence, civilization has turned to mob rule. Once you get so many young kids on the screen, the old are presumed to have resigned in compliance, I reckon. Yet elders, much older than our old, with visions across the Horizon, are playing a game so much older than the rules of the media game.

It is odd watching old British TV shows - usually comedies (sometimes if I'm feeling nostalgic I'll watch one on youtube). The social engineering is clear as day now, looking back (from 20 years in the future in Eastern Europe). I hadn't been aware of it at all at the time, and I suspect my friends weren't/still aren't. One of the problems is that the message these shows carried seemed to be anti-establishment and thus more genuine. We assumed only the conservative establishment was trying to manipulate us.

Share your red pills with your buddies. I know, it might be unpleasant, but that's the only way tu influence the tide.

Thanks.

The context is the 'submission' I observed taking place in the UK (editorial submission to the fast growing Muslim population in this case).

So, although Buddhist mob violence undoubtedly exists, I would be really surprised if we hear the collocation 'Muslim mobs' on mainstream UK TV News.

It also didn't surprise me that there was no mention of the cause of the violence, even with the softening syntax of "Buddhists claim/allege..." and so on.

would have been nice in a leading 10-minute report on national news to briefly cover the cause of tensions and violence from both sides - rape, insurgency, military crackdowns and so on: wouldn't have taken long and all kinds of softening 'claims' and 'alleges' could have been used.
