I'm educated in Humanities, you understand. And we here, in that unfortunate idealistic, immaterial sphere, never thought we would have to follow and to be able to follow the goings-on in the spheres that matter politically. Thence the despicable role of our intellectually lazy intelligentsia in the "events" of last 20 years. We are no like, say, brit intellectuals, writers, academics in that respect. Disconnected we are. Disconnected, as euphemism for stupid. No political, economical, practical awareness, nothing. Just greed. For examples, go, say, to appropriation of state resources in the academic sphere — in so called philosophical community as one of the instances.
