es skatījos pirms gadiem 10 kanādas tv interviju ar viņu. ierēcu par saiberpanka tēva piedzīvojumu ar pirmo (apple) datōru, kuru pēc ieslēgšanas bija nekavējoties atvienojis no strāvas. Zvans uz tehnisko supportu: my computer... it's broken - there's something spinning inside! well, džeks viņu mierina, ka tas esot pilnīgi ok. kā, gibsōns neizpratnē, - tas jūsu kompjūters ir tikai tāds sūda elektronisks patafōns?!
tad intervētājs metās viņam pārmest, ka nākotne tiekot mālēta baigi grimā. pāris veiksmīgi pretargumenti un rezumējums: the future has already happened, man
