nu, to es nosauktu par post-britpopu :)
nav īsti britpops, bet liela, liela ietekme gan ir. britpops vairāk attiecināms uz 90to gadu vidu.

nedomāju, ka britpops ir tikai tās grupas, kuras tad radušās. tad jau pēc 10 gadiem varēsim teikt, ka travis ir post-post britpop.

Bands like Muse, Travis and Coldplay drew inspiration from the earlier sound. Albums such as Showbiz and Absolution (Muse), Parachutes and A Rush of Blood to the Head (Coldplay), and The Man Who and The Invisible Band (Travis) showed lesser or greater Britpop influences. In 2003 and 2004 bigger influx happened of more new acts. Bands such as Athlete, Doves, Franz Ferdinand, The Strokes, Kaiser Chiefs, The Futureheads, Bloc Party, Kasabian, and Maximo Park showed Britpop influences in their work. Other acts like Elbow, The Libertines, and Keane have also come to the fore, with music influenced by Oasis and Radiohead. Reportedly Noel Gallagher, of Oasis fame, described the new movement as "fucking indie rubbish" when asked during an interview what he thought of the new movement.

neesmu iisti shii zhanra fans, taapeec laikam ieteikshu tikai paziistamaakos paarstaavjus: oasis, blur, pulp, supergrass, suede, kula shaker... laikam jau skunk anansie vareetu iemest taj pashaa maisaa, kaut gan par taadu zaimoshanu var arii pa galvu dabuut :)
