Songs for Christmas is a box set of five separate EPs of Christmas-related songs and carols recorded by independent musician Sufjan Stevens between 2001 and 2006. The EPs had been given as gifts to friends and family of Stevens over the past six years, except for 2004 where he was too busy recording the Illinois album. Though the first three EPs have been available on Sufjan Stevens-related fansites for several years, Songs for Christmas is the first official release of these EPs.

Grupa no Jumpravas, Ogres rajona. Iespējams, šis ir viņu vienīgais ieraksts, izklausās, ka ierakstīts viņu vai draugu mēģinājuma telpā. Izplatījies dažos (?) eksemplāros. Nav domājams, ka grupa spēlējusi vairāk par dažām reizēm, Rīgā - varbūt vienu-divas.
Grupas līderis Māris pārceļas uz Rīgu un darbojas kā profesionāls mūziķis, zināmās, bet neievērojamās pop-rok-jazz grupiņās.
Dziesma 'Lidojums' iekļauta izlasē "Odekolons 1998/99" (HUBB), pārējās dziesmas nav publicētas.
G.V. liels fans kādreiz bija Bindemanis, Dambis joprojām ir.

Their sound is sparse and understated, with intimate lyrics, elements of alt-country and folk Americana, and occasional forays into minimalist electronica.

On January 18, MGMT stated that they would prefer not releasing any singles on the new album. In an interview with NME the duo explained that new album is meant to be a complete body of songs rather than an album with standout singles. "We'd rather people hear the whole album as an album and see what tracks jump out rather than the ones that get played on the radio – if anything gets played on the radio!" Goldwasser explained. He added: "There definitely isn't a 'Time to Pretend' or a 'Kids' on the album. We've been talking about ways to make sure people hear the album as an album in order and not just figure out what are the best three tracks, download those and not listen to the rest of it."

Described by songwriter Stephin Merritt as "my folk album", the instrumentation of Realism is largely acoustic, stark in contrast to the band's previous album, Distortion, released in 2008. Merritt said he "thought of the two records as a pair" and considered titling the albums True and False; ultimately, he couldn't decide which title would correspond with which album. The song "The Dada Polka" is the only track to utilize an electric guitar. Merritt also avoided using a traditional drum kit, further separating the sound of Realism from the noise pop of Distortion. Along with Distortion and the 2004 album i, Realism was also recorded without the use of synthesizers, completing the band's "no-synth trilogy".

Jauka,lipīga elektroniska,sintezātōrmūzika, ar jaukām,masīvām bungu skaņām īstajās vietās.Vokāls man patīk un mazliet maziet atgādina Jake Shears(Scissor Sisters) dziedāšanu.
