Folding@home klients v6.0 beta1
Folding@home lejuplādes lapa papildināta ar klienta 6. versiju, kas pagaidām ir beta statusā.

Izmaiņu saraksts ir sekojošs:
- support in client and backend infrastructure for passkey
- accept message from server (for example PRFC) and print to unitinfo and queueinfo (only on units assigned from servers supporting this)
- integration of SMP support into the standard client. Run with the -smp flag on eligible hardware to receive SMP units.
- detailed detection of CPU type and features
- no benchmark on startup
- We regret that a v6 Windows/SMP client is not yet available.

Aizsākts arī FAQ, kas veltīts v6.

Kā izskatās, v6 pagaidām neatrisina SMP klienta sarežģījumus, taču solis integrācijas virzienā ir gana apsveicams. Ja kādam ir vēlme, var paeksperimentēt ar jauno klientu, lietotāju unikāli identificējošo passkey un interfeisu. Un, protams, nepiemirst ziņot šeit par saviem iespaidiem un v6 īpatnībām.
