1) Once in the interview to Toni Maraini Fellini said that (citing) “clownesque talent in an actor is the most precious gift” he referred to Giuletta Masina, but then we have these actresses like Anita Ekberg (La Dolce Vita), Claudia Cardinale (8½), Anoun Aimee (8½) in his films. Don’ t you think it contradicts the image of actress with “clounesque talent”?
2) What do you know about artistic collaboration and relationships between Fellini and Robert Rossellini?
3) Would you happen to know why Fellini was so fascinated by circus?
4) In interview about 8½ interviewer mentions different writers that critics mentioned in comparison with 8½. Writers like Proust, Joyce, Kierkegaard. Fellini confessed that he hasn’t read their works as he didn’t have time for it and also that (citing) ‘museums and libraries are not made for artists’ and that ‘life interests him much more than books’. Were there any other forms of art that were of any interest to Fellini apart from cinema?
