Man writing a letter. ECU on letter and pencil writing.
TEXT: “Honey, I had this dream tonight.”
SOUND: pencil writing/breathing/dripping.

(MLS/MS/CU/ECU) WOMAN sitting, smoking, wearing white nightgown. Man moving around the room. Woman looks worried at him for a while.
NB! Woman appears very “one dimensional” as it is the man imagining the scene. Her emotional range changes from loving to worried/anxious.
SOUND: dripping

WOMAN
(monotonous)
Honey, I had this dream tonight.

NB! His emotional range changes from jealous/mad to loving/confused.

MAN
(stands behind/next to her: mystified/intense)

(blank/cold/staring)
About diamonds . . .

She puts her arms around him. Man looks at her, looks at the cross on her neck. Then covers the cross with his palm. Then he halfway realizes something, tries to push her away, but can’t.

MAN
(confused/afraid/trying desperately to remember)
What diamonds babe?

WOMAN
(blank/cold/staring)
You said you will show me the diamonds. I said I don’t want to. Then you took one out of your pocket. There was blood on it. You brought me down to the diamond mines - it was dark there ... Dark like the inside of a grave!

ECU - he takes his hand off revealing some drops of blood on his hand then on the cross.
