I live in Silicon Valley. There's a lot of hospitals here & nearby. There's world famous hospitals all over the Bay Area. 2 people I know have had to go to the ER in the last 2 months & both needed to be hospitalized for an extended time. Both were kept in the ER of their hospitals for over a week. Why? There weren't any extended stay rooms available! Seriously! I had 2 hospital stays myself in March. They kept me in the ER because no rooms were available. Something really bad is going on & the hospital folks are very tight-lipped about it. We all can easily guess what it is, can't we?
