Orienteering walk/race in the “Forêt de Soignes”- Sunday Oct. 31st 2010
On Sunday October 31st, ASUB will organize the first of the “3 Days of the Forêt de Soignes” (orienteering walk/race) in Watermael-Boitsfort.
Meeting place: Ecole de la Sapinière, Chaussée de la Hulpe 346, 1170 Watermael-Boitsfort (N50.789837° E4.423324°)
On this occasion, we are happy to invite you to the following activities (free of charge):
* a discovery activity with instructors, if you do not know orienteering yet: starts will take place from 9.00 until 10.00 a.m.
* orienteering walks (4 or 7 km long) or races (different lengths, with electronic stamping): starts from 8.45 until 11.00 a.m.
* a welcome drink towards 11.30-12.00 a.m.
With a view to sharing our experiences of that day and to getting to know each other, we also suggest that we have dinner together in a typical Brussels “brasserie”, in Ixelles : “La Mirabelle”, Chaussée de Boondael, 459, 1050 Bruxelles (www.mirabelle.be) at 19.30 on that same day (price of a three-course meal: around € 35/person).
Beware: we will change hour (from summer to winter time) during the night from Saturday October 30th to Sunday October 31st. Thus you will be able to sleep one hour more before you come and walk/run in our magnificent Forêt de Soignes, which will have put on its most beautiful autumn colours.
