Actually, science usually has stern and strict predictions about what is, and what is not. If you see a scientist loudly accepting that "the opposite of a profound truth is usually another profound truth", there is a profound chance that you are actually looking at a prophet of pseudoscience, not a scientist.

And chaos, in most of the cases, is actually quite predictable, only the methods of prediction are quite different from the usual ones.
