Multiply their data by a million to get the correct figure

Earlier this year I went to see a GP to simply ask if there was any truth to this. I was basically backed into a corner, right before Christmas holidays our boss told us before returning we'd have to follow the government mandate and get vaccinated to work, or he'd be fined 20k.

So I figured, maybe all the stuff I had read up until that point was sensationalist fearmongering, conspiracy theorist BS. I needed to work after all, needed an income. Booked an appointment to merely ask the question, is the myocarditis/pericarditis thing true?

The GP confirmed all my original fears, and it turned out it was way worse than what I originally had thought. Told him I exercise often, and am worried about heart related issues etc. He said "Yes, you are at high risk of heart related issue from the vaccine, the age group of 23-35 is particularly high for myocarditis and pericarditis." Asked him then If I could get an exemption written up, he said no he couldnt do that, but his recommendation was that "Maybe don't train for two weeks after getting the vaccine" - LOL. What is that, a ballpark guess?! What if something happens when I start training again? "No sorry, you are still not able to get compensation or anything like that because this is a pandemic situation...and you will still have to get additional doses". I asked him then if he had any of the vaccines, his eyes lit up and said "Yes, I've had two doses of Pfizer and will be getting the Moderna booster when that is available!" Like a living, breathing TV advertisement. Absolute clown. He was Pakistani too, so when he said "Moderna" he really annunciated the R. Something in me after he said that just made me want to grab him by his neck and choke him

How could a doctor sit there and tell you point blank, "Yes you're at a high risk of injury if you take this", then say two minutes later "Oh yes, I've had two doses of it and getting a third!". He's either completely hollow-brained, or lying. I wouldn't have been privy to this information being confirmed had I not gone out, paid $50 for and appointment, and asked. Again, at that point in time, it was considered "wild conspiracy theory"...

The whole thing rubbed me the wrong way. So I quit my job and found work somewhere else ten days later.
