A record number of illegal smuggled weapons were seized in 2020

Last year, the Swedish Customs also seized almost 3.9 tonnes of cannabis. That is more than three times as much as 2019 and more than any other year.
However, the number of drug seizures decreased from just over 7,400 in 2019 to almost 6,500 last year.
The amount of seized and seized alcohol increased from 450,000 liters in 2019 to 508,000 liters in 2020.
