"In a democracy, politicians are inherently incentivized to create an ever more socialist system, because it means giving more power and money to the government, i.e. politicians. This is why there is not a single democracy since all those revolutions started that has become more conservative, and also the reason there are always laws enacted that take liberties away (Patriot Act, Notstandsgesetze), but never those that give liberties.
Thus, they are also inherently motivated to create a socialist schooling system, which will produce citizens that accept losing ever more of their liberties to ever more powerful politicians.
This is also the reason they implement policies (and schooling) that pushes the anti-family agenda, because a person with no strong family ties is much more dependent on the state.

This does not mean that every politician acts according to these incentives, but on average and over time, the outcome will always follow the incentives."
