Otherwise intelligent Ann Coulter, who routinely complains about useless conservatives (rightfully so) started a dumb hashtag to rename yale because it was founded by a slaveowner (or something). All the other conservatives who love to complain about useless conservatives went in balls deep on this useless and pointless gesture.

LEFTISTS HATE YOUR COUNTRY. They hate your ancestors and they hate you. I guarantee very few of them give a fuck about Yale's name. They can (and should, just for kicks) rename it to George Floyd University and they would have moved forward with their goal of erasing America's legacy and replacing it with their own empire of chaos.
The problem with conservatives is that even when they know leftists don't act in good faith they still think they can shame or embarass them. Leftists don't care what conservatives think about them but conservatives care what leftists think about them and think it goes both ways. It doesn't. They view you like Hitler views Jews. You are vermin to them. Using leftist tactics as a right winger is a waste of time because half the leftist strategy involves infiltrating institutions that can enact change. They then engage in low level terrorism (IE: "protests") while their agents in the institutions pretend to "listen and hear you" and enact the changes they want enacted. Conservatives infiltrate no institition (in fact all of their institutions are infiltrated themselves), and stupidly believe the protesters work when the protests are just the fig leaf that permits the infiltrators to enact desired change.
