Marco Rubio rightly identified shareholder capitalism as another hindrance for progress - corporations invested in share buybacks, not innovation. Just recently, Marc Andreessen of Mosaic fame wrote an article that we have to have the will to build.

But we are complacent, we rather talk than do. That's why the universities have millions of students enrolled in mostly useless degrees which focus on feeling and talking.
