- I have to say, the drag-queen library thing is the most bizarre virtue signalling thing so far. Lasted for so long and many are willing to die on that hill for some reason.

- What's bizarre about it? It's a very effective continuation of "sex education". The deliberate purpose of sex education from the 1950s onwards was to separate children from the moral beliefs of their parents and to have those beliefs replaced with the morals of the liberal state. Now that most of sex education is obsolete, as an entire generation has been brought up to sneer at ideas of sexual restraint, the revolution must go on and more taboos must be broken. What better targets than children in the comfortable and warm environment of a library, having stories read to them. Thanks to the cultural revolution, most of these children don't have stories read to them by their own mothers in their homes. Colourful, extravagant looking transvestites make great impressions on young minds. A population that supports "sex education" has no right opposing this sort of thing; this is what they've assented to.
