Social Democrat politician openly warns that a new Jewish Holocaust awaits if Christian Democrats, Sweden Democrats and the Right gets power - minutes before PM Löfven goes up on the same scene
Wednesday May 1, 2019
UMEÅ Only minutes before Stefan Löfven climbs up the stage in Umeå, Lina Farhat from S-women held a speech where she warns that a new holocaust of Jews is waiting if the "Right" gets any power. Farhat specifically mentions KD and Ebba Busch Thor while pointing out that "the Holocaust did not begin with the gas chambers". Minutes later, Prime Minister Löfven is on the same scene and describes both M and KD as right-wing parties.
In a video clip from Umeå just before Prime Minister Stefan Löfven is going to hold his first May speech, Lina Farhat from S-women is heard and she holds speech on stage. Initially, she describes a dark picture of modern Sweden with racists in the Riksdag and online control in social media. The situation of immigrants in today's Sweden has similarities to the jews in 1930s Germany, she says.
- "Doesn't this remind you of the situation of Jews during the Hitler era?" she asks rhetorically from the scene.
Then she goes a long way in her reasoning and warns that a new extermination of Jews awaits if the Right takes power. She blames the "Right" in Europe for this and she specifically mentions the Sweden democrats and Christian Democrats and their leader Ebba Busch Thor.
- "Remember dear friends, the Holocaust did not start with the gas chambers. The Right has never been so well organized in Europe, but they are now mobilizing seriously to take power. At the same time, a new Rightwing block is being formed in Sweden. No one has missed that KD, with Ebba Busch Thor in the lead, will talk openly to the Swedish Democrats".
Minutes later: Löfven describes M and KD as right-wing extremes
Just minutes after Lina Farhat warned that new Nazi pogroms are waiting to start in Sweden, Prime Minister Stefan Löfven steps up on the same scene. He is also on the same line as the reasoning Lina Farhat has just made. Löfven turned directly to members of Christian Democrats and Moderates with a straight call.
-"Don't contribute to giving them more power! Right-wing extremism needs opponents - not copies!"
That quote from Löfven has raised strong criticism in social media. Even from Moderate's party leader Ulf Kristersson criticizes the Social Democrats in a written comment on TT.
-“Swedish Social Democracy is getting embarrassing. The fact that a prime minister of a Western democracy portrays two democratic opposition parties, the Moderates and the Christian Democrats, as the right-wing extreme is unique. Stefan Löfven takes the debate to new bottom levels,” he writes.
News Today, the Christian Democrats are looking for a comment. In the below clip from Pontus Persson, who was in place in Umeå, you can hear Lina Farhat's speech which starts 9 minutes into the clip.

"Felt like a strange sect meeting" - Pontus Persson, 31, filmed the Social Democrats "Nazi attacks" on stage against Christian Democrats, Sweden Democrats and Moderate parties
Wednesday May 1, 2019
Stefan Löfven described M and KD as right-wing extremes. Minutes before that, Lina Farhat from S-women stood on the same scene and warned that new extermination of Jews awaits with KD and the right. In the midst of all this, Pontus Persson, 31 years from Umeå, was filming with the mobile. - It was bizarre, he says to News Today.
The Social Democrats do not seem to shy away from any funds in their attacks on the opposition before the forthcoming EU elections. When the party celebrated in May in Umeå, Prime Minister Stefan Löfven described both the Moderates and the Christian Democrats as "right-wing extremists". Even worse, it allowed the minutes before Löfven went up the stage when Lina Farhat from S-women kept an apel.
- "The Holocaust did not start with the gas chambers. The Right has never been so well organized in Europe, but they are now seriously mobilizing to take power. At the same time, a new Right block is being formed in Sweden. No one has missed that Christian Democrats, with Ebba Busch Thor in the lead, will talk to the Swedish Democrats!"
In the midst of everything, Pontus Persson, 31, documented the political speeches with his mobile phone. He is a student, has previously worked as a scaffolding builder and calls himself a liberal conservative. When News Today reaches him over the phone, he is disturbed about the whole thing.
- "It was bizarre. They painted Christian Democrats, Sweden Democrats and Moderates as open Nazis, it was basically what they did. And people stood there and applauded", he says
What did you think when you stood there?
- "I have grown up in Umeå, I am so worried. It felt like a sect meeting."
He himself calls Umeå "Norrland's answer to Södertörn", that is, the city is very "red" politically speaking. He himself stood in a T-shirt with the text "Crush socialism" and the message that "Socialism is Evil", a t-shirt sold by the comedian and the debater Aron Flam.
Earlier in the day, two photographers were attacked by leftists in Stockholm when they were to document LO's first May celebration. But himself, Pontus Persson was never worried about physical violence, even though he was standing there in his t-shirt.
- "No, I thought most they looked shocked when they checked on me. They didn't know how to react. It is not so common for anyone, on May 1st in Umeå, when Löfven is going to speak, go into a t-shirt with the message "Crush Socialism," he says.
