The mass corruption and blatant dishonesty about policy aims are epidemic in world leadership these days. It's so entrenched that even when you have Earth shattering revelations of this systematic corruption brought to light (like what has been going on with facts about the Obama presidency, Clinton campaign and the blatant partisanship in the highest levels of the FBI and DOJ) the average voter seems more interested in the plight of kids with criminal parents.
