Pēc pašreizējām aplēsēm covid-19 ir ap 10 reizes lielāka mirstība nekā no gripas. Pret gripu ir vakcīna. Ir skaidra ārstēšana (pats 2018.g. izslimoju).

I just started reading "Covid-19: The pandemic that never should have happened, and how to stop the next one" (Debora Mackenzie). Already in the introduction she mentions event 201. Though not through the angle you seem to endeavour... ;)

Flu jabs aren't that effective for the old, by the way, as far as I am aware.

Covidam lielāka vecākiem cilvēkiem, bet bērniem un jauniešiem no gripas mirstība ir lielāka.

Tāpēc pret gripu ļoti iesaka vakcinēt bērnus, bet veciem cilvēkiem šī gripas vakcīna nav īpaši efektīva, un tur vajag citas vakcīnas.
