It's window dressing, doublespeak that they engage in to placate the non-elite while doing terrible things to them. The author still does not recognize that, and as such he will never be able to enter the higher echelons of the elite. He is what is known as a "clueless", a useful idiot that has technical skills but lacks the cultural insight to become a true "sociopath" who reaches the top of the social hierarchy. That's why this article lacks insight and meaning, it reflects the lack of insight and meaning within the author himself."
