Atbilstoši nosaukumam, izstādē dominē reliģiskas un cēlas intonācijas – sievetes ir ne tikai dievmātes, bet arī cietējas karā, mūzas, auglības un nākotnes veicinātājas un radītājas caur mokām. No izstādes apziņas teju pilnībā izspiests psihoanalītiskais skatījums uz mātes-bērna attiecībām un Nevainīgo ieņemšanu. Tikai ielaminētā reprodukcijā pie sienas iezadzies neliels cerības stars – Lidijas Auzas “Madonna” (1969) ar dievišķās būtnes priekšā impotento laternas stabu.

As the title may suggest, religious and noble feelings dominate in the exhibition – women are not only mothers-of-gods, but also victims of wars, muses, cultivators of fertility and future and child-bearers through suffering. The psychoanalytic view on the mother-child relationship and Immaculate Conception has been virtually shut out from the conscious of this exhibition. A tiny glimmer of hope has crept in, though – a small, laminated reproduction of Lidija Auza’s “Madonna” (1969) with its impotent lamppost at the feet of a divine creature.
