Ja baletdejotāja figūra no attāluma atgādina retro automobiļa motora pārsegu, tad tuvumā tik briesmīgi vis nav. Šķiet, par atlēta muskuļu regulāro režģi iespaidīgāks ir skatuves kā fikcijas atveids. Pēdējās divās desmitgadēs Rīgas pilsētvidē parādījušos tēlniecības darbu kontekstā, šis pat ir tīri labi.

If from distance the figure of the ballet dancer is reminiscent of the bonnet of a vintage car, close by it is fairly decent. More impressive than the regular grid of the athlete’s muscles, perhaps, is the exposure of stage as fiction. In the context of new sculpture in Riga public space during the past couple of decades, this is even quite good.
