It is quite likely that A.Lauringson, too, saw Martin Creed's “Work #277, Lights going on and off” in Tallinn in the summer of 2011 (if not elsewhere). Videos of recordings of random bits of conversations of passers-by and their playback, even though they indeed play on the contemporary mania of observation and voyeurism, rather seem to belong to that branch of contemporary art which consists of petty pranks. As long as one gets away with it…
