About O. P. Joshi:
He is from Jaipur, the capital city of state of Rajasthan. It is centre of art and 265 Km from Delhi. He is a Sociologist of art and worked in many colleges and Universities. He retired as Principal, Govternment Postgraduate College of KISHANGARH near Jaipur. Kishangarh is known for its painting and there are nearly 600 artists. He has written books about artists, "The Life and WORKS of P.N.Choyal" and "Painted Folklore anf Folklore Painters of India". A new book "Master Drawings on Rural Life" is under publication. A book on Popular prints, "Gods of Heaven: Home of Gods", has been included in Course of Open University in UK. He paints himself and he has has state awards.
