Sabbatic Goat:
The goat-like figure had been used as a representation of various Pagan gods for thousands of years;  Such an image, also led to the popular "look" of Christian Satan, which accumulated during the centuries following Christianity's birth (and whose usage became one of the methods of eliminating remaining Pagan religions and establishing the dictatorship of Christianity).  The horned god, or Satan, also became the subject of worship of medieval Satanists, as a response to Christian tyranny. (The Holy iquisition in particular).  During the 19th century, magician/priest Eliphas Levi created this famous print of the Sabbatic Goat, which has hermaphroditie qualities: one arm is masculine, the other is feminine; the goat has breasts of a woman with a phallic object on its lap. In general, this image, most likely, represents the dual (good/evil) nature of everything, since other parts of the picture seem to point out the same idea (One arm is pointing down, toward the dark crescent moon, another arm is pointing upward toward the white crescent moon).  Nowadays,we even see Marilyn Manson sporting T-shirts with Levi's print on them.
