Menswear still seems a little boring, because there are like 100 designers doing the same things, but this allows some designers to surprise us. Carven‘s Artistic Director, Guillaume Henry consistently manages to meld the often expected elements of classical menswear, with his own offbeat approach and design elements. Presented in a corporate-like stage set, his men’s office wardrobe was a stunning visual display of bold prints and traditional fabrics. Despite everything that is going on, there seems to be an unmistakable simplicity about the whole collection which is most fitting of a modern businessman, except for the daring suit pants which literally falls short. This makes Guillaume Henry the TOP candidate to design the wardrobe of the new American Psycho remake.
