Mr Porter has quite made the menswear news the past few weeks. Before the new collections will be debuted at the Men’s Fashion Week’s later this month, the online retailer collaborated with Raf Simons and Alexander Wang for exclusive collections. The Raf Simons collection features a mix of sweats, tees, shorts and bombers all flowered-up with Simon’s vibrant floral print. The just previously released Alexander Wang collection – a mere eight pieces, two of which are tees — is the same simple triumph we’ve come to expect from Alexander Wang. The process to do basics well is anything but basic, and from the fleece-backed crewneck, to the black cropped panel jacket, this capsule demonstrates that point admirably.
