Gesundheit!
hey 65ers.
The story about our website going down:
Our website went down so we phoned the people who we pay to host it. They had deleted everything with very little sympathy because we didn't give them money.
Sorry sorry sorry.
We bought a new little corner of the internet superhighway dude, and phoned the people back to get the domain name. They said that actually the domain name was still hosted by some other people who we must have registered it with originally. So we made a cup of tea and tried to remember who we'd got our slice of double yew double yew double yew dot off in the first place, and it was tough, because it must have 1908 or something, before we had facial hair and regrets and more than a passing interest in an early night.
But we did remember.
So we phoned them, or maybe emailed or some shit like that (because they're in America where THE ACTION IS) and they said that we haven't paid them for EIGHT YEARS.
But they were really nice, and now we have our website back and they didn't make us pay for any of it.
Phew!
Coulda been rehearsing while that was all going off, which is a crying shame, but also interesting, because rehearsing these days mostly involves crying and that special kind of self-absorbed, self-doubting shame that is usually only pulled off by the very self-absorbed and the very self-doubting and the deluded.
65 suspects it might be the latter, and what's wrong with a little delusion in the politically inept and financially insane footnote of history that is January 2009?
Our website is back up now and you can expect it to continue to be updated with videos and photographs of differing quality and interest (depending on how heavily we got into the booze at the weekend), every Monday night or Tuesday morning. Depending on where you live in the world or on how much sleep Paul needs.
THESE ARE TRULY THE LAST DAYS!
We're still adding new shows to an ever-growing, sprawly kind of tour, which doesn't even involve us making a new record but instead trying out lots of things we think might go on our new record.

Shortly you will be receiving an email from us asking to RE-SUBSCRIBE to our mailing list.
There are too many people on the current one so we're making a new one.
Chances are you signed up in 2004 or something, possibly after a few too many gin&tonics or whatever your bedtime drink of choice is, and you never read this stuff anyway. It's nothing to be ashamed of.
If you do want to stay connected to us via electronical carrier pigeon, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take the time to sign up one more time. This is the only way you will be privy to all the fantastical and unlikely things we're going to announce over the coming months.
Ciao Bella!
