atvaino, bet apgalvot "scientism tells you that science is the only way to truth." var tikai cilvēks, kurš nesaprot zinātniskos principus. kā arī uzskats, ka zinātne ir izskaidrojusi mūsu un visuma izcelsmi, ir aplams.

beztam... zinātne nedomā un neizplata preses paziņojumus. līdzīgi absurdi būtu apgalvot: "religion tells you that faith is the only way to truth. And I believe that's clearly false. It's even logically false"... reliģija un zinātne nesaka neko, jo nevar parunāt. tie ir "sociāli konstrukti". bet ir daži indivīdi, kuri no visām frontēm mētājas ar gudri savārdotiem teikumiem, kuri pēctam tiek internetā pārkopēti kā citāti un neskaitāmas reizes atreferēti.

bet esmu gatavs pāriet uz diskusijas nākamo soli un apspriest "what if god intended us to be created by pure chance. what if chance is the foundation of the universe?" mmm? RN Jeezuz anyone?

"Bet ir daži indivīdi, kuri no visām frontēm mētājas ar gudri savārdotiem teikumiem, kuri pēctam tiek internetā pārkopēti kā citāti un neskaitāmas reizes atreferēti." True, šī tipa (atgremotu) sarunu ir tūkstošiem. Bet tas norāda uz to, ka cilvēkiem ir jautājumi.
Kas atliek? Vispār neuzdot jautājumus? Kāds ir pareizais veids, kā ar novērojumiem un jautājumiem dīlerēt, lai diskutētu ar "tādu sociālu uz sadarbošanos tendētu dzīvniekam kā homo sapiens"? Vai arī tu gribi teikt, ka viss, pie kā mēs nonākam tāpat ir tikai spekulācija par tēmu? (Tas, ka tu nediskutē atbilžu pēc, ir skaidrs. Sporta pēc?)

viss pareizi - vajag uzdot jautājumus un ielaisties diskusijās gan par idejām, gan notikumiem, gan indivīdu uzvedību un rīcību. atbildes gan es meklēju zinātnē, bet viedokļa, ticēšanas un attieksmes maiņa ir personīgi lieliski pacilājošs piedzīvojums, kuru vienatnē ir grūti izsaukt.

atvaino, bet es sākotnēji uzskatos par tevi esmu kļūdījies - šobrīd vairs nespēju rast fundamentāli pamatīgas atšķirības mūsu pasaules redizējumā. un vienkārši klaji turpināt troļļot arī nav tieksmes =P
