This topic has been mentioned a lot in the surveys we have asked you to complete. I am going to reveal it! Here it is. Our first topic is FREE TIME ACTIVITIES & HOBBIES.
What are you expected to do? To put it simple- tell your colleagues (peers) about what you are really interested in when the door of the school closes behind you.
Music? What genres or styles are your favourite.
Literature? (“Twilight” by Stephanie Mayer or plays of Shakespeare??? )
Hate reading? Then sport. What kind of sport and why? Or cars, IT, or fishing, or...

I have a quite sexy friend too. Her name is Linn Cecilie, and she is pretty awesome. She is the greatest girl I know, and she is very kind. She loves everyone, and everyone loves her. But she has a sucky friend. Lisa… Lisa is fat and eats all the time. She is extremely unhealthy and only eats fast food. I don’t understand why Linn is hanging out with her, but what the hell. Lisa sucks.
This is all my friends. I’m a pretty unpopular person, and everybody hates me because I’m beautiful. I’m perfect. Why can’t everyone understand that? Fucking motherfuckers. I hate’em all.
I’m just kidding. Actually I’m a serious sport freak. All my spare time goes to training. Every day I train about two to three times. So, you probably understand that I’m not as fat as Lisa. I’m skinny. And I love dogs. I don’t have any dogs, but that’s only because mom don’t want any. But my sister got a dog. His name is HAMMY. He got his name Hammy because he is kind of a handicap. Sometimes she allows me to cuddle with him too. Once he was a small dog, but now he’s big.
Hello. My name is Andreas; I have a lot of interests in my spare time. Now you are going to hear some of them. My number one spare time activity is Football. I love the feeling you get when you scores a nice goal, or when you dribble someone. Football takes a lot of my time daily, but I never get bored anyway. My favorite teams are Rosenborg, and I also cheer a bit on Wolverhampton. I also like to play tennis, but I haven’t got enough time to that lately, just because no one has set up the tennis net in me home town Raufoss yet. That is bad, but I can often go to the city, close to Raufoss and play there. Music is very important for me, and I like absolutely everything, but I am special fan of Phil Collins. I like simple plan too.. TV is also very fun I think, it`s very nice to sit down and relax on the sofa, at the evening. My favorite TV shows are desperate housewives, Bones and Buffy the vampire slayer. I also love to watch movies, I watch a lot on the television, but anyway I think cinema is best. My favorite movies are The lord of the rings trilogy and the Harry Potter series. Friends is very important for me, and I try to spend time with them too, but some days it is difficult for me, because it happens a lot in my day, so I can`t manage to do everything. Many of my friends have I meet from Football, but I also have some I have met in other ways. At last I also like to spend some time alone, and just relax, but when I do that I get bored after some time very often. Those are the activities I use most of my time on, but anyway, football is the best! No doubt!

My name is Lāsma. I want say that we are some common activities in spare time. I like football, but I like wach it, not play. And I confess I can`t play football.
You said that you like play tennis. I want ask you why you like play it? I think it is boring, but maybe I don`t now enythig agout tennis.
Now comes that what I like too. That is music. I`m sing in choir nine years. I`m fan Christina Aguilera and Enrique Iglesias. You said that musicis very important to you. Why is it so important to you?
Talk about movies I like „Walk to remeber” and „Horse charmer”. From seriāls i like „Macleod dothers” and „Brekeout”.
I have many friends, but some of them I can meet in school holidays, but I have friend everywhere.
But dancing is my dream. I like folkdances, they call TDA”Ieviņa”. There is so cool, but hard.

In my spare time I like to be a lot of activity, I like to do a lot of different thinks. I especially like to play football, but also training in general. Often I train every day, at least as often as I can. I play football for FK Toten, something I really like. My team has just won the series we play in. Football is fun and football is challenging, therefore I have decided to go sports bar for even more training and to developing me as a footballer. So far I am also very pleased with the sports bar. It is not just theory, and subjects all the time, but also a lot of activity. Therefore, this fits me very well.
When I am not training, I like to do something with my friends, do something on my computer, or just sit at home to watch a movie and relax. I also like listening to music. I listen to music almost around the clock. When I train alone, I also listen to music. I like a band called In Flames very good. It’s a heavy metal band from Sweden. There are many who disagree with me, but I think it’s good music.

I like to do many different things in my spare time, but my main thing I like to do is go skiing. I have been skiing since I was been 9 years old, and I still love to do it. I started on Lena because than I have more time to train and be a better skier. My training takes most of my spare time so I do not have much time to do other stuff. When I have time to do other things I like to play tennis and squash, I also sometimes like to do art. Special I like to make sculptures and paintings. I have been making paintings of flowers and birds since I can remember, and I try to make sculptures of my paintings. Sometimes I like to hang out with friends to see a movie or go to party. But when I go to school I do not have much time to be with my friends. I dislike go to stores or malls because it is stress, and I don't like stress when I'm not training. Periods when its not so much training as it is now I try to be more social and paint more.

Two- houndred- and- fifty words in English about me? Phew! That’s a lot when you don’t like it very much. I’ve always had trouble with understanding English. I suppose it has to do with that I seldom watch Television-series and movies. I have’nt read many books either. When I do watch Television, I follow sportsarrangements of all different sorts, and soccermatches in particular.
I am a Norwegian boy, sixteen years old. I live in a small town called Raufoss, in the south-east part of Norway. I live half of the time by my mother, and the other half by my father. I have one younger sister, a dog named ”Doffen” and a car named ”Pjusk”. It’s an understatement to say I like soccer, I love it! My position is Midfielder, and you can say I’m a hardworking player. Bigmouthed and excited too.
I also enjoy other training, I like to run and ride my bike, I also occasionally play handball, and like that very much too. In winter I think it’s lovely to take my cross-contry skies for a round in the woods. Therefore I have choosen to go to school in Lena, where I can combine my basic education with knowledge in training and also practice sports at school.
I’m outgoing and cheerful. I’m curious about other people, and I enjoy meeting people and hang around with my friends. I like music, all kinds of pop, rock and rap. My favourite artist is Eric Clapton, he’s a brilliant guitarist and singer. Sometimes I sing too, just for fun, and I like it when I can entertain people with jokes and so on.
Food is important to me, I like to prepare and eat delicious courses and desserts. One of my absoulute favourites is fillet of raindeer, with a nice homemade Pannacotta for dessert. I also enjoy dining in fancy restaurants, I like the atmosphere around the table while dining, I sometimes go with my friends, asions on other occasions with my family.

How long are you playing soccer?
I wish I could do it like you - to take my cross-country skies for a round in the woods, but no, because the winters in Latvia now are pretty warm and mostly it's muddy not snowy, last winter we had enough snow and we were skiing in PE lessons too, but it was the first PE lesson in my life when we skied! In usual winters it's almost impossible.
could you explain me what is fillet of reindeer? and Pannacotta?
once in my life time I have eaten reindeer meat, it was in spring when I was in Finland (I was there because of a similar project like this) and first time I saw raindeers! for you maybe it's something usual and maybe even annoying to see a reindeer but for me it was amazing. :)
At first something about me. My name is Elīna, I`m seventeen years old, I`ve two older sisters than me and great parents. I`ve a dog and a cat too. And I`ve also two cows.
You`re saying you`ve alvays had trouble with understanding English but looks like your English knowledges are brilliant comparing to mine. So don`t worry.
It`s wonderful that you like skiing and I like skiing too. The only different is that we have no mountains. The highest point in Latvia is just 312 m high. Some years ago I used to take my skies and go around our meddow a lot of times. For now it`s not possible because snow usually is wet or there is no any snow. :(
Talking about Eric Clapton, only song that I know is "Tears in heaven" and I love it. Maybe you could recommended some grate songs of Eric Clapton?
Speaking about the food I`ve never tried a raindeer! I guess it`s delicious. One of my favourites is pork chop with cheese. And the desert I like the best is all kind ice-creams. And yes, food is also important part of my life.
I was woundering, which could be the place you would advise me to see in Norway? Keep in mind that I woul love to see fjords and I`ve never been there before.

on my free time I alsow like to get-togheter whit my friends and like to watch movise. But I use much of my free time to fotball also. I can see that you don't like sport, but you like to play vollyball in the summer. And vollyball is something I also like to do in the summer to. And the summer is the best time of the year, I am agreed.

I would like to tell you what i`m doing in my free time.
The best of all i like to listen to musuc and sing by myself. Especially i really love to sing in case i know the lyrics of songs. That`s why i`m trying to take a part in some choir. It`s just one of my free time activities.
Sometimes i used to read books. If you want, i can advise some really good books for you. Without books i`m interested in active sport like swiming or cycling or something like that. i`m not very good at that, but i just like to do it.

Speaking about my free time activities i like dancing very much. I`m dancing in TDA "Ieviņa''. There is very dificult and there have to put in a lot of hard work. But i even like it.
Without dancing i like sing too. I was singing nine years in my old school im coir. Now i`m not very good in singing and now i`m not singing in any coir.
When i haven`t anything to do, i used to read boks, listend music, watch TV and surf in internet.
That`re ny free times activities when i`m not in school. I have not a lot of free time because school take many of my free time.

in my free time I don't do much usually, but there would be things that I would like to do, or I just get to do them not as often as i would want to

I really like to travel as well. I travel in holidays. I've bin to 12 countries, manly in Europa.
Of course I like spending my time with friends, but I'm not a girl that likes to party a lot or go dancing, i like sitting around and talking about things that matter to us and cooking together is always fun, I'm good in making tiramisu at last I know that everyone who eats my tiramisu loves it.
I'm into philosophy and theology as well I like reading books and thinking over people ideas of the things that we have taken for granted in our daily life.My favourite philosopher is Søren Kierkegaard, he is from Denmark. I just can relate to things that he says, and he did things that I would want to do in my life as well.

My name is Voldemars and I m from Latvia.
I like spend my free time with my friends! About my hobbies I like to listen music. I like different music. My favorite song is “Simple plan” – Perfect. Some of my other hobbies are ice hockey and florball. I m very big ice hockey fan! My favourit ice hockey club is Dinamo Riga. It is the best ice hockey club in Latvia! This club is playing in the second best ice hockey league in the world! (KHL) I like to go on these games and watch them in arena. Ofcourse, I am Latvian international hockey team fan too! Latvian team is in 7 place in the world! About myself I like play ice hockey too. I like these awesome feelings when you get the puck in net, and big speed on skates- it`s great! I like florball too because it`s like ice hockey without skates an puck. Ice hockey I play in winters but florball I can play all year!

FREE TIME ACTIVITIES & HOBBIES.
My name is Līva. I’m 16 years old.
I live in small village called Plāņi. My only concern though, is that there really isn't anything fun or interesting to do, but I always find away to do something fun.
Things I like to do:
I like to watch english movies.( For me, the best way to learn English has always been watching films, cartoons, tv shows and certain tv channels. Since I was little I watched disney channel and despite I didn't understood a word I kept watching and now I see that it was a good thing to do. )
If I have some free time during the week I also read a book.( I've read the books Twilight, New Moon,and Eclipse, now I'm reading Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer. )
I like taking long walks on the beach in summer and I like watching the seasons change.
I like listening to music.
Take a walk in the rain.( I like it very much because every time you close your eyes and feel the raindrops on your face, it feels like you are free from your worries and streesful days. Its something magicall about it that I couldn't explain.)
Suprise someone, because I like when people are happy and I like the look on their face as they realise that you cared about them. I like the smile on their face, because when you're smiling, the whole world smiles with you.
Sleep under the stars in warm summer days.
Look at stars every night from my window.
Go outside and lie on the grass in hot summer days.
My favorite hobby is singing, acting, and dancing!
Go to a cinema.
Write a poem or somethind elss.
Watch the sunset.
Take photos of my family and friends.
Email friends or talk with them on skype.
And remember -whatever makes you happy, make time to do it and do your best to brighten the lives of others.

Free time and hobbies
My name is Dainis and I’m 16 years old.
Now my first and only hobby is table tennis or for my friends this is ping pong. With table tennis I’m practicing for 2 years, but with some pauses because had some problems... I think I’m not the worst player I know :) I really like table tennis, because you need to be fast and very high reaction, because the ball are small and she are flying very fast. And with this sport I can train and keep fit. Before I start playing table tennis I played football and I was goalkeeper. And football I played for 4 years and I got many medals and with football team I have been in Finland and Czech Republic. Without these sport kinds I like other sports like basketball, volleyball, and other sports witch is playing using ball also. Ok it’s all about sports.
I’m not very keen book reader, but if book are interested me I can’t stop read it. Latest book I have read are Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyer. But my favorite book are from Latvian writer Zenta Ērgle and books names is ‘’Par mūsu sētas bērniem, indiāņiem un melno kaķi.’’ This is adventure story for children’s specially, but everyone can read it ;)
I usually listen various music, because it depend on my mood, if I’m sad I listen something slow and relaxing, but if I’m very good mood I’m listen fast and something what just screams ‘’Hey get we need to dance’’. Everyday and especially in school I like listening music, because if some lessons are boring it helps to don’t get sleep. One of my favorite bands are Fall Out Boys and I like their song ‘’Thanks for memories.’’ I don’t have I favorite group or song but are a lot of songs witch I’ am listening everyday and with these songs I have some memories…
And yes i think it’s all i wanted to tell you.

If someone ask me about free time activities or hobbies the first I think about friends with who’s I can relax – go somewhere in fresh air, or just to talk about our daily routine. One of my hobbies, definitely, is sleeping. Still I like sing (when I’m alone) and ride with bike, but only in summer.
I love music, of course. Sometimes I think I can’t live without music. I like very different music styles. For example – pop music, hard rock music, some of instrumental music, country music and others styles.
Also I like learn something new. Not only in school, but practice in life too.
In my view it’s all.

My brother is professional skiier and I like he support. In summer he always have running competitions, but in winter skiing. I always try support he in his competitions and I want learn ski professional, too.
In summer my friends and I love play volleyball and swimming. It is the best think what can do in summer. In evenings I go run, I like a feel after the running.
In school time in evenings I like walking with my friends. Now I have new friends because I learn in new school and I can get to know better people and live.

Sometimes I'm working at home. But most of the time staying at my home is really boring. So I think the best thing in life is to be with friends.
From sports I like running and skiing. Too bad here in Latvia isn't many snow so it's possible to ski only few weeks in year.
I'm not a big TV fan. I haven't seen any film on TV past month. Maybe it's because I spend many time at my computer.
From literature I like adventure stories and science fiction. i don't spend many time in reading but when I found something interesting to read I can read it many hours until I get tired.

My name is Emils and I tell you about my free time activities and hobbies. I don’t like sit all day in home. It’s so boring. I am active!
Firstly about my free time activities. Of course, me like teenage like go to the party’s and dissipate. I like almost style music, but dominance rock. In free time after school I go to the gym. Actually I am very athletic and in gym I practice with body building. I go to the gym almost 3 years. The progress is normal but its so heavy work. When I have holidays, I like hiking in backwoods. As also I like survival in forest and survival as such. That require from you sinew and whopping psychological preparedness. If you have affright from darkness, stay one in forest and not to be bodily ready, don’t understand nothing from map or survival in outdoor force – unadvised you to tray. Asset more than year I go to “Jaunsardze”. “Jaunsardze” is our state organized teenager interest and educational system where we to acquire Latvias military history and acquirement in military stuffs. Not long I to engage in military close combat system “Kadochnikov”. In this fighting club we learn Latvias military history, hit tactics as also “Kadochnikov” close combat.
Secondly about my hobby. My hobby consistently is sport, survival tactic, military stuffs and close combat you think. It’s correct, but also my hobby is history and political machine. These both the parties are similar. I have good collection stuffs of World War 2 and money collection.

My hobby
In my spare time which is usually after school, I like to focus on my interests which among other things, is to work with animals, train, have a good time with my friends, driving tractors and otherwise make life easy. I live at a farm, where we have sheeps, horses, cats and my to dogs. They are my main focus. They are both Border Collies, father and daughter. Since we have sheeps on our farm, I train my dogs to be good shepherd dogs, who can help me to make the work a little easier. But I already have ideas, well thoughts for the future, in fact already in the spring. Then I will try to go a use test, I need this to compete in other competitions, with the oldest dog, Leo, and if I work hard enough I'll maybe be able to go the same test with the youngest dog, Cherokee. This is my goal with the dogs, I hope we will make it :) My motivation to continue, even when it looks guite dark, is when I see improvement. Besides that, I have in fact time for other things, like driving tractors. And like most tractor lovers I have a favorite tractor, and it is of course Fendt! Unfortunately we don't have this tractor on our farm, it hurts..
Well, I am also interested in issues related to the world, that is among other things, sustainable development. I am not quiet in the whole politic world, and to be honest it doesn't really matter to much for me, but I do always have an opinion about sertain things me and my friends are talking about during discussions and conversations, espesially in class
I am not going to write what I don't like to do in my spare time, because I love my spare time, nearly as much as I love my school :) So.. I think this will be it, for now.
