The reason nations exist is because everyone who isn't you will on some level no matter how innocent, be out for their particular interests. Even a polite civilised people like the Japanese, would on a subconscious level, say favour more migration from Japan.
The issue with Judaism and Islam is that both religions in addition view non members as inferior, so we are expected to not be supremacists while tolerating supremacist ideas in those communities.
