Paldies. To my mind this skirmish has its roots in currents deeper than the protagonists are aware of themselves.

Kr to me was another star in the Ciba firmament. He is fascinating because he was so sasodīti kaislīgs that he metamorphized into an archetype. It wasn't enough to block him: he had to be savaged.
