Indeed, it is said that the Aran fishermen would not learn to swim, since they would certainly not survive any sea that swamped a currach and so it would be better to drown quickly.

Peldēt neprasme tikai mūsu smilšainajās pludmalēs dzīvojot ir nesaporatoma. Daudzi, tai skaitā pat Joshua Slocum un James Cook, nemācēja peldēt.
